Who can use this

  • Reporting email cadences are admin-only in the Reporting page.
  • Recipients can include organization members and external email addresses.

Create a cadence

  1. Open Reporting.
  2. Select Email Cadences.
  3. Select New Cadence.
  4. In Setup, enter a cadence name, weekly send day, send time, timezone, and enabled state.
  5. In Recipients, choose organization members or add external email addresses.
  6. In Fields, choose manual field selection or auto field selection.
  7. In Analysis, add instructions for what the report should emphasize.
  8. Save the cadence.
New cadences can be saved as disabled drafts. When you continue to the analysis step for a new cadence, Ergo defaults the cadence to enabled unless you turn it off.

Field selection modes

  • Manual: select up to 10 available Ergo reporting fields or rubric fields.
  • Auto: leave selected fields empty and let Ergo choose fields for the run.
Manual mode requires at least one field before the cadence can be enabled. Remove unavailable fields before saving.

Recipients and schedule

  • Recipient emails must be valid and cannot be duplicated.
  • A pending external email must be added or cleared before saving.
  • Cadences use a weekly schedule.
  • The timezone must be a valid IANA timezone.

Test and send now

Use test run before enabling a cadence or after major field changes. Use send now when you want to queue an immediate send for the cadence’s configured recipients. Both actions enqueue a reporting email run. A queued action is not the same as confirmed delivery; check run history for the final result.
