  • Whether the disclaimer is enabled in notetaker settings.
  • Whether your org has separate legal or customer-communication requirements.
  • Whether the host or meeting platform also announces recording.

Important caveats

  • The setting does not replace your obligation to follow applicable consent laws or company policy.
  • The disclaimer is a notice; it does not collect attendee acknowledgment.
  • The bot can still require waiting-room admission.
  • Recording-disclaimer state is separate from summary-email settings and meeting sharing settings.
